Hey All!
Welcome to my first real post here! =)
Today has been a crazy day as Mommy's getting ready to head back to China tomorrow. Her flight leaves at midnight. So far, she has four meetings left to plan, luggage to pack, and other strings to tie up. With my grandparents moving into their own place these next few weekends, Mommy's been setting up all their different phone accounts, figuring out social security, etc...
The boys (Aaron and Matthew) have been going to sleepovers and things, seeing their friends for the last time before they head back again.
Priscilla and I have been getting adjusted to our new school schedule! Starting Monday morning, Palomar classes started up again (after a weekend break). Priscilla's been having a great time with her computer/business classes as well as her voice class. The only class she isn't having as much fun with is math. She's been pretty swamped by all the homework!
Fortunately, I got a nice math teacher this semester! With no homework, I was able to add a few more fun classes (such as voice and guitar)! It's been hectic getting up early every morning to get to school ontime (again) and having to sit through two hour classes (again). Even so, I have to admit that I'm glad to be back in school and that I'm enjoying most of the classes I'm taking!
We decided that today would be a good day to try and figure out the bus system that we'll be using until August. Figuring out the bus system isn't easy. I feel so proud that I'm finally able to join ranks with the veteran commuters and exchange at least some embarrassing stories! After an hour and a half of walking in the hot sun, climbing huge hills, avoiding mosquitoes, and jumping at cars behind me, I've had my fill of buses and public transportation systems. Walking as much as I have today has helped me discover that... I can't wait until I learn how to drive. It'll make things so much easier.
I'll be back with more updates as Mommy goes back to BJ and things start picking up there! Until then,
God bless!
